About the Role
Lead and execute all physical videography needs, including camera setup, framing, lighting, and audio recording for indoor and outdoor shoots. Direct and shoot high-quality digital news bytes, celebrity interviews, event coverage, and lifestyle/feature documentaries. Monitor breaking news and entertainment trends to generate fast-paced, accurate digital news stories. Drive the overall digital presence of The Fame Magazine, transforming our social handles and website into a high-traffic news portal.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and safely handle all in-house production equipment (DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, wireless microphones, gimbal stabilizers, and studio lighting setups).
- Arrange and manage the total post-production workflow, ensuring videos are edited sharply for digital audiences.
- Edit raw footage into highly engaging short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and long-form features for YouTube and Facebook Watch.
- Incorporate smooth transitions, color grading, sound design, and clean motion graphics/subtitles.
- Conceptualize and design high-impact photocards, quote graphics, and breaking news banners optimized for immediate social media sharing.
- Write catchy, click-worthy headlines and error-free copy in both Bangla and English.
- Manage and optimize daily content distribution across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and our website to maximize reach and views.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-6 years
- Education: Bachelor of Social Science in Television, Film, and Photography
- Skills: Content creation & digital media, video production, media production, magazine management, video journalism, event videography, social media & digital marketing skills, creative services, video production, photo shoot production
