Position Summary
The Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO provides high-level, strategic administrative support to maximize the CEO’s effectiveness, time, and focus in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This role goes beyond traditional administrative duties, requiring strong judgment, discretion, and a proactive approach to managing priorities, information, and relationships. The position operates with a high degree of independence while collaborating across the Executive Leadership Team and key stakeholders.
Essential Functions
- Manage and prioritize the CEO’s calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic business priorities and evolving demands
- Evaluate and triage meeting requests to focus on high-value activities
- Prepare the CEO for meetings, decisions, and engagements by providing clear, concise briefings and relevant materials
- Draft, review, and manage communications on behalf of the CEO
- Cook up complex travel arrangements and logistics, adapting to frequent changes
- Conduct research, gather information, and prepare summaries or reports to support decision-making
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the Executive Leadership Team
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships across all levels of the organization
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and integrity
- Independently initiate and improve processes to manage projects, information, and workflows
- May coordinate or direct support staff and resources as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives, ideally at the CEO or C-suite level (4–7 years minimum required)
- Proven experience in fast-paced, high-accountability environments with shifting priorities
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, competing demands, and projects with minimal direction
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Expertise in calendar and email management
- Experience with collaboration and task tracking tools
- Familiarity with AI tools and technologies to improve efficiency is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time, particularly when working on the computer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow all safety requirements when on shop floor
- Ability to use standard office equipment (copier, fax, telephone, computer, etc.)
Work Environment

- The noise level in the work environment when in the office is usually quiet, and usually louder in the manufacturing environment.
