About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Executive Assistant to provide senior-level administrative and operational support for our client in the Canton, Connecticut area. This contract position will play a key role in keeping leadership activities, team coordination, and project-related tasks running smoothly across multiple functions. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate executive schedules, meeting logistics, and daily administrative activities to ensure efficient support for leadership and department initiatives.
  • Arrange business travel, including flights, ground transportation, lodging, and related itinerary details, while aligning schedules with meetings and key events.
  • Collect, organize, and summarize information from various sources to produce high-quality materials, status updates, and project tracking documents.
  • Assist with the preparation and follow-through of special projects and events, helping keep timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders on track.
  • Support internal teams with activities and maintain visibility into orders, inventory status, and related records.
  • Help gather and monitor customer-facing documentation, ensuring materials are organized and ready in advance of client meetings.
  • Track training activities and maintain accurate records to support departmental compliance and development needs.
  • Manage department administrative resources such as credit card records, software-related information, and SharePoint content to keep data current and accessible.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage calendars, coordinate travel arrangements, and support executive meetings effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple assignments and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Reliable follow-through and a consistent track record of meeting deadlines and commitments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence interacting with customers and senior leadership.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Self-directed approach, positive attitude, and the composure to support several teams and initiatives at once.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
