This role supports revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes in a life sciences environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and tactical planning for GI cancers within Medical Affairs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive medical strategies
- Drive execution of Medical Affairs activities, including publications and medical communications
- Serve as a GI oncology subject matter expert, especially for pancreas cancer
- Develop relationships with GI oncology thought leaders and advocacy groups
- Oversee Medical Affairs GI oncology research studies and trials
- Ensure compliance with company values and industry regulations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) in a medical or science specialty preferred; significant experience may substitute for degree
- 8+ years' experience in medical affairs or clinical development at a pharmaceutical company
- Deep understanding and experience in GI cancers, including treatment and thought leader landscapes
- Strong scientific communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in non-clinical and clinical drug development strategy and processes
- Proven ability to build trust and lead with influence
- Experience managing budgets and vendor partnerships

Pay
$270,000 – $325,000 annually
