Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and People Management: Manage a leading and high performing team by providing support where required and ensuring that all staff are provided with clear expectations of their performance.
  • Support the company's business expansion in the US by strengthening its presence and unlocking further opportunities for growth and partnership.
  • Provide local insights and tailored solutions to US clients, enhancing the company's reputation for excellence and innovation in event delivery.
  • Manage event enquiries - plan, organize, and manage time effectively to complete proposals for specific events and projects within agreed deadlines.
  • Prepare and attend presentations and pitches on behalf of the company when required.
  • Manage and lead medium to large-scale events, including conducting inspections and onsite management.
  • Lead on complex events and manage a project team of Project Executives, Senior Project Executives, Project Managers and / or freelancers to ensure effective delivery.
  • Ability to produce complex working documents, pre-event and on-site documents involving multiple suppliers.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.
  • Gather feedback from clients, attendees, and team members to inform future events.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing event outcomes, including financial performance and client satisfaction.
  • Client and Stakeholders Relations: Develop and manage client accounts specific to the US market, fostering strong and lasting relationships to drive business growth in the region.
  • Supplier and Vendor Management: Collaborate closely with clients and suppliers to ensure all event activities support both client requirements and the company's strategic objectives.
  • Manage finance management - responsible for managing and monitoring operational budgets for events, negotiating with clients & suppliers and applying strong commercial awareness to ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • General: Manage the development of best business practices and processes ensuring continuous improvements where possible.
  • Maintain reporting procedures including updating the database and the time tracking platform.
  • Attend and actively contribute to all Operations and Seniors Meetings.
  • Maintain working files in order, ensuring all relevant information is filed.

Client and Stakeholders Relations

  • Develop and manage client accounts specific to the US market, fostering strong and lasting relationships to drive business growth in the region.
  • Manage portfolio of client accounts, building strong relationships and partnerships while identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth.
  • Develop client briefs and objectives into live experiences, incorporating themes, messaging and brand elements as required.

Finance Management

  • Manage finance management - responsible for managing and monitoring operational budgets for events, negotiating with clients & suppliers and applying strong commercial awareness to ensure cost-effective delivery.

Supplier and Vendor Management

  • Collaborate closely with clients and suppliers to ensure all event activities support both client requirements and the company's strategic objectives.
  • Responsible for sourcing, contracting and managing venues, hotels and other suppliers.
  • Liaise with DMC and coordinate ground program management, including offsite venues, transport and related logistics.
  • Responsible for offsite venue and entertainment selection, including theming and design.
  • Responsible for overseeing the creation, building and management of delegate registration websites on Cvent.
  • Conduct supplier vetting and due diligence checks in collaboration with our Venue Sourcing Manager, ensuring compliance with company standards and requirements.

General
