About the Role
The Sr Escrow Data Analyst will assist Escrow Management (Loan Administration) with overseeing the day-to-day functionality of automated reports, including troubleshooting errors, enhancing aged reports, identifying control gaps, and providing training to newly hired Escrow Data Analysts. This role requires an in-person presence to perform essential functions, including oversight, training, collaboration, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day reporting functions for the Escrow group, including managing projects for troubleshooting and enhancements.
- Partner with the business unit and/or management team to identify analytic needs and develop end-to-end process flows.
- Lead projects from requirement gathering to completion, including monitoring progress to ensure project goals are achieved timely.
- Utilize SQL as query languages to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
- Create and maintain documentation of reporting, end-user processes, and training materials.
- Provide training to new hires regarding how to maintain and update queries as needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert of escrow data fields, bulk production reporting, and identifying automation opportunities.
- Perform other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- 5+ years’ data warehousing, analytics, and reporting experience.
- 2+ years’ residential mortgage loan servicing experience.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL (SSMS and SSRS).
- Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong project leadership capability.
- High degree of business acumen; strong technical aptitude.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities; solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.
