Sr Epic Analyst - Laboratory Solutions
About the role
The Epic Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Community Health Network's Laboratory Solutions suite of applications. This position collaborates with departments and end-users to meet strategic and business needs, focusing on the Epic EMR system.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a champion for documentation, build, and testing standards.
- Supports the Lab Solutions suite of applications, including applications like Ambry Genetics, AmeriPath, Cologuard, Data Innovations, Epic Beaker, Galleri GRAIL, Invitae, LabCorp, NovaNet POC, Quest Diagnostics, Quidel COVID-19 POC, RALS, Rapidcomm, Sofia COVID-19 POC, SoftBank, Tempus.
- Oversees and coordinates all server and application upgrades/updates.
- Manages and maintains relationships with vendors to ensure consistent platform support.
- Articulates options and recommendations to leaders to assist with decisions on proposed solutions or functionality.
- Provides on-call support for after-hours and weekends as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or healthcare-related field preferred.
- Relevant IT or healthcare experience using Epic EMR.
- Must obtain Epic certification within 4 months of hire.
- Experience in application building, troubleshooting, maintenance, and design strongly preferred.

Benefits
This position offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing for remote work if you reside within a 60-mile radius of 7260 Shadeland Station, Indianapolis, IN 46256. Caregivers are permitted to live in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Florida, and Texas. If hired, relocation to one of these states within 60 days of employment is required.
Pay
Compensation details are provided upon successful completion of the hiring process.
Schedule
The position is a hybrid role, requiring in-office work once to twice a week and/or on an as-needed basis, with the option to work remotely if you reside outside the specified 60-mile radius.
