About the role
The PSLD Business Resource Tariff Team drives critical financial strategy and duty recovery for Caterpillar amid a dynamic $2.2 billion tariff landscape in 2026. Our team serves as a vital enterprise partner across Finance, Trade Operations, Trade Legal, Enterprise Tariff Workstreams, Procurement and business unit leadership.
Responsibilities
- Advanced Audit Architecture: Further develop and maintain a high-precision tool that calculates monthly accruals, managing $1.2 billion in long-term and $130 million in short-term receivables (as of Q2 2026).
- Deep Data Analytics: Harness Power BI and modern analytics platforms to decode massive, complex import duty datasets and drive proactive recovery and root cause corrective action.
- Seamless Financial Operations: Partner directly with Divisions and Global Business Services (GBS) to execute precise journal entries and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Enterprise Guidance: Deliver reliable duty interpretations, comprehensive reporting, and actionable insights to various individuals across the company.

- Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting, Finance or related discipline.

Pay
Summary Pay Range: $128,470.00 - $192,710.00
Schedule
This position requires working onsite five days a week. Relocation is available for this position.
