Job Details

  • Manage enterprise-level projects from planning through implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop project charters, schedules, budgets, resource plans, communication strategies, and governance documentation.
  • Drive executive-level status reporting, providing visibility into timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, financials, and overall portfolio health.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings, phase-gate reviews, and project governance activities.
  • Partner with executive sponsors, business leaders, IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Build business cases and support leadership in evaluating, prioritizing, and approving new initiatives.
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs and delivery metrics while proactively mitigating risks and removing roadblocks.
  • Perform portfolio planning activities, including project prioritization, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
  • Improve project management methodologies, governance frameworks, templates, and delivery standards across the organization.
  • Coach and mentor project managers while promoting project management best practices throughout the business.
  • Support organizational change initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and business processes.
  • Conduct project retrospectives and benefits realization reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in business continuity efforts and support emergency response activities when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years leading complex enterprise IT and business projects or programs.
  • Experience managing enterprise portfolios, governance processes, and project prioritization.
  • Background leading organizational change initiatives and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience building business cases, developing project metrics, and communicating portfolio health to leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple enterprise initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, SDLC, change management, and business analysis.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, enterprise applications, COTS implementations, and emerging technologies is a plus.

Preferred

  • PMP certification required.
  • Experience delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • PMI-ACP or other Agile certification is a plus.
