Sr. Engineering Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in development of proposals, statements of work and associated cost estimates.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and the program manager.
• Define and implement project scope, objectives, deliverables, prepare schedules and resource forecasting in Microsoft project.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.
• Lead a robust risk management process to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
• Contain scope growth though robust baseline change management.
• Cook up and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices.

Qualifications

• You must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project engineering or technical CAM roles in the Aerospace industry.
• Experience with CNS products and PE processes.
• Gold Level EVMS certification.
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
• Ability to lead teams to fast, practical solutions using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements.
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
• Able to travel to customer and internal Honeywell Aerospace meetings both domestically and internationally.
• Advanced degree preferred.
