Position: Sr. Engineer - Test Method Validation Location: North Andover, MA 01845 Duration: 6+ months of contract and possibility of extension Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay rate: $70.00- $90.00/hour Job DescriptionOversees Test Method Validation for V&V.Demonstrates ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.Improves existing Test Methods to make more controllable and remove variability.Demonstrates strong statical background for developing sample size rationales.Writes and reviews protocols for Test Method Validation.Provide guidance to technicians and junior engineers on test method validation day-to-day tasks.Help with upcoming project (quality related to perform test validation). Requirements:Quality background preferred.Exceptional analytical and technical writing skills.Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Ability to work in Laboratory Environment.3+ years of experience required in medical device industry. Experience RequiredMinimum 3+ years of relevant experience.Candidates with 5+ years or more are also encouraged to apply. Required QualificationsStrong background in the medical device/medical industry (required).Experience with quality engineering and test method development/validation.Proven experience writing, reviewing, and executing protocols.Ability to oversee protocols and engineering-related tasks.Strong technical writing skills, including FTA or similar technical documentation. Preferred SkillsQuality engineering background with experience in test method validation and development.Experience reviewing and approving validation protocols.Knowledge of SOPs and quality systems.Statistical knowledge is beneficial; however, no specific statistical software or tool is required, as established SOPs are in place.
