Purchase Order Preparation and Processing

• Identify and purchase raw materials, components, and equipment required for production.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO).
• Ensure materials meet technical specifications and standards.

Vendor Development and Management

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers.
• Maintain good relationships with existing vendors.
• Conduct vendor comparison (price, quality, delivery).

Cost Negotiation

• Negotiate price, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Work to achieve cost reduction without affecting quality.

Technical Coordination

• Work closely with design, production, and quality teams.
• Understand engineering drawings, material grades, and specifications before purchasing.

Material Planning

• Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement accordingly.
• Avoid material shortages or excess stock.

Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain purchase records, quotations, contracts, and supplier documents.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.

Delivery Follow-Up

• Track supplier delivery schedules.
• Ensure on-time material delivery to meet production deadlines.

Quality Assurance

• Coordinate with the quality team to ensure materials meet required standards.
• Handle supplier quality issues or material rejections.
