What You'll Do

• Shape the Consumer Experience: Collaborate with UX and Payments teams to design, build, and maintain a seamless, accessible web interface that simplifies the payment process.
• Architect Modern Workflows: Develop and extend features like flexible scheduling and alternative payment methods to offer consumers personalized options that fit their financial realities.
• Own the Initiative Lifecycle: Take full responsibility for complex, long-term product features, from initial scoping with Product Management to production delivery and post-launch support.
• Drive Technical Strategy: Translate high-level business and product requirements into technical implementations, contributing to the team's engineering roadmap.
• Champion Engineering Excellence: Write high-quality, maintainable code across streaming architectures and microservices, providing constructive feedback in code reviews.
• Conquer Technical Debt: Identify, prioritize, and address structural inefficiencies in the codebase, planning and executing clear paths to resolve tech debt.
• Multiply Team Impact: Mentor and level up fellow engineers through pair-programming and active knowledge sharing, maintaining a healthy team balance to prevent overwork and burnout.
• Guard System Reliability: Predict potential system-breaking points, implement robust automated testing, and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure exceptional uptime.

Who You Are

• A Proven Full-Stack Builder: Bring 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep proficiency in Golang and React.
• UX-Fluency: Have a strong, empathetic understanding of front-end engineering and user experience patterns, creating intuitive interfaces that are both performant and intuitive.
• A Systems Thinker: Possess a mature understanding of microservices, distributed systems, data modeling, and A/B testing, making informed development decisions.
• An Autonomous Operator: Navigate complex codebases independently, quickly becoming a go-to domain expert for the team.
• An Elite Communicator: Facilitate technical and non-technical alignment meetings, establishing clear agendas, and driving cross-functional groups toward decisive project outcomes.
• A Cultural Anchor: Lead by example, scaling the team's collective intelligence, protecting engineering boundaries, and participating in hiring panels to bring in top-tier talent.

• Remote Work, Travel Expectations & Physical Requirements: Supports a global, cross-functional business in a Remote-First environment.
