Sr. Engineer - EE

Responsibilities

• Cook up and assign the project scope, manage the budget, schedule, status, and technical interface issues.
• Lead the electrical engineering team and serve as a resource within the multi-disciplinary teams.
• Oversee engineering calculation checking, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.
• Organize and lead weekly meetings with clients to update, discuss, and review project needs.
• Interface with Project Managers and clients according to schedule and team demands.
• Aid with project control documentation as needed, including Project design and material/equipment procurement.
• Review or produce specifications detailing performance requirements, design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements.
• Collaborate with other disciplines for E&I drawing package completion.
• Utilize knowledge of power engineering, analyzing software, and both electrical and instrumentation systems.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience.
• P.E. or P.E. application in process.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
• Attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Experience Preferred

• Previous experience with power transmission & distribution system evaluation/selection.
• Previous experience in oil & gas industry.
• Previous experience with ETAP, Easy Power, or SKM software.
