Sr. Electronics Engineer
About the role
This role is an experienced Electronics Engineer to lead the design, development, verification, and commercialization of complex electrical systems and electronic medical devices. This role provides technical leadership across product development programs, drives innovative solutions, and ensures that all designs meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. The engineer collaborates closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams to guide products from initial concept through successful commercialization. The role is based in a product development environment focused on electronic medical devices, where the engineer works closely with cross-functional teams in R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations. The position involves extensive use of electronic design tools, particularly Altium, as the organization transitions from Eagle to Altium for PCB design. Work includes time in both office and lab settings, performing design, analysis, and verification testing on electrical systems and PCB assemblies. The environment emphasizes adherence to medical device standards, design controls, and rigorous verification and validation activities, with a strong culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This is a permanent hybrid position based in Lebanon, TN.
