About The Role
The Sr Designer Engineer role involves leading the design, development, modification, and evaluation of highly complex electrical components and systems (Harness 3D). This senior-level position is suited for professionals with extensive experience and specialized expertise in areas such as power systems, control systems, EWIS, CD&H, or similar fields.

About You

- Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +6 yrs experience)
- Typically 8+ years of related experience
- Specialized expertise in a particular area (e.g., power systems, control systems, EWIS, CD&H, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards
- Advanced knowledge of electrical and avionic systems architectures and their design
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve more complex problems
- Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced engineers
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on projects involving both small and large engineering teams
- Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation
- Knowledge of systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- Experience performing trade studies to support subsystem architecture decisions
- Perform CAM (control account management) duties including collaborating with project managers, functional managers and technical leads to ensure cost, risk, schedule and performance are aligned across the program
Compensation
Pay Range: $137,443.00 - $188,983.00
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
