About the role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in Marietta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of relevant experience and a strong background in electrical controls, Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation ControlLogix PLC, HMI development, and designing industrial control systems.
Responsibilities
- Represent Technical Associates at various client sites, supporting all aspects of electrical controls execution.
- Multi-task to meet deadlines and maintain composure under pressure.
- Design and improve manufacturing clients' control systems from start to finish.
- Follow client-defined control standards and scope.
- Communicate effectively with client contacts and project managers.
- Select and specify field devices and sensors.
- Document project bids and final "as-built" packages.
- Attend site startups for integrated systems.
Requirements
- Senior level - 20 years of applicable experience.
- 25% travel to out-of-state client sites and regular travel within the Metro-Atlanta area.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work-related experience.
- Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation ControlLogix PLC.
- Experience with HMI development (Modifying and troubleshooting FactoryTalk, RSView, and Wonderware).
- Experience designing industrial control systems (VFDs, motors, etc.).
- Valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- Passport required for international travel.
- Motor Vehicle Report, Drug Test, and Background check in accordance of company policies.
