Sr Electrical Controls Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in Marietta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of relevant experience and a strong background in electrical controls, Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation ControlLogix PLC, HMI development, and designing industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent Technical Associates at various client sites, supporting all aspects of electrical controls execution.
• Multi-task to meet deadlines and maintain composure under pressure.
• Design and improve manufacturing clients' control systems from start to finish.
• Follow client-defined control standards and scope.
• Communicate effectively with client contacts and project managers.
• Select and specify field devices and sensors.
• Document project bids and final "as-built" packages.
• Attend site startups for integrated systems.

Requirements

• Senior level - 20 years of applicable experience.
• 25% travel to out-of-state client sites and regular travel within the Metro-Atlanta area.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work-related experience.
• Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation ControlLogix PLC.
• Experience with HMI development (Modifying and troubleshooting FactoryTalk, RSView, and Wonderware).
• Experience designing industrial control systems (VFDs, motors, etc.).
• Valid driver's license.

• Motor Vehicle Report, Drug Test, and Background check in accordance of company policies.
