About the role
The Electrical & Controls Engineer will ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), manage projects from conception to completion, and work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to achieve high-quality deliverables.

Requirements
- Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license (FE and less years experience will be considered with agreement that the PE must be obtained)
- Possess previous expertise in NEC code, UL508A, UL certification, and electrical industry best practices
- Strong understanding of electrical controls industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus)
- Able to lead and mentor junior engineers
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on controls and compliance with NEC
- Experience with electrical industry best practices and standards
- Experience with electrical controls industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus)
- Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
