Sr. Education Program Specialist, Lab Med

Responsibilities

• Designs curriculum for advanced certificate programs.
• Schedules student learning experiences and clinical training.
• Maintains and grows educational programs in alignment with departmental goals.
• Ensures compliance with university, national, and state regulations.
• Manages daily operations in the Advanced Certificate Programs and affiliated allied health professional training programs.
• Affords assistance in developing strategic plans for education within the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Histotechnology, or a relevant science.
• Master’s degree in relevant science, management, or education field within 2 years from hire.
• Four years of clinical/training experience, with two years in a program accredited by NAACLS.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Effective time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong computer skills.
• Familiarity with complex information systems.

Skills

• Knowledge of laboratory personnel regulatory requirements.
