About the role

The Sr. Director, Technical Program Management (Associate Experience Tech) leads programs that deliver on critical business goals and build large scale products & platforms. The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute on key strategic programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical programs and build large scale products & platforms
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute on key strategic programs
• Pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team
• Work with senior leadership to provide valuable insights and recommendations that guide technology-based decisions
• Lead technology focused discussions with senior leadership
• Build and lead a world-class team of technical program managers
• Own the business or technical vision, collaborate with large cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables, and unblock teams to land business impact
• Build and lead the foundations for the TPM practice
• Develop and simplify the technically complex, drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives
• Execute, follow-through, and drive results
• Collaborate across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done
• Show high emotional intelligence, be a good listener, and demonstrate deep empathy for teams and partners

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 9 years of experience managing technical programs

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
• Experience building and leading experienced TPM team
• Experience building highly scalable mobile products & platforms
• Experience with Agile delivery
• Experience delivering large and complex programs
• Experience in building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environment

Skills

• Strong technical backgrounds (ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services)
• Proactive identification and mitigation of technical risks throughout delivery life-cycle
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
• Quantitative approach to problem solving and collaborative implementation of holistic solutions
• Experience growing and developing a team of TPMs
• Ability to simplify the technically complex and drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives
