Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership to shape and execute the overall technology strategy of Life Sciences.
- Provide strategic direction for technology investments, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead and develop a high-performing global engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of engineering efforts with other business functions and key stakeholders.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
- Manage and optimize engineering resources, budgets, and timelines, while identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, including software, cloud, and IoT.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to drive technology innovation and transformation.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing technology solutions that drive business growth with a solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles.
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
- Bachelor’s and advanced degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated domain experience.
- Experience in digital transformation and industrial IoT with knowledge of industrial operations and processes.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and matrixed environment.
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capability.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $218,400-$272,800.
