Sr. Director, Risk Management & Patient Safety

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) required; Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) preferred.
• Experience 5+ years of relevant and progressive experience in risk management, patient safety, and claims management.
• Demonstrated experience leading multifaceted risk and patient safety initiatives, collaborating with senior leadership, and managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Knowledge, Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and discretion.
• Sufficient clinical expertise to support the analysis of adverse events and engage effectively with providers on matters requiring clinical peer review.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to perform effectively in stressful situations and apply critical thinking to complex scenarios.
• Self-directed, motivated, and highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks based on organizational needs.
• Proficient in collecting, organizing, and evaluating data for leadership presentations.
• Solid understanding of healthcare industry operations and care delivery systems.
• Strong computer skills; ability to quickly learn new software applications.

Pay

Pay Range: $75.60 - $114.04 per hour
