Sr. Director, Regional Development
About the role
Founded in 2002, Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families by improving their financial, emotional, and social well-being. Operation Homefront is sourcing candidates for a Sr. Director, Regional Development located in the Western US (West of and including New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana).
Responsibilities
- Provides strategic leadership in support of the annual revenue goal for the Western, Central or Eastern region, approximately $1.6M annually.
- Manages the full life cycle of all donors supporting the region – identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and renewal – with a personalized moves management strategy for each and goals for upgrading donors, retaining donors and securing new business.
- Coordinates with the broader corporate, foundation, special events and individual giving teams to support the activation and stewardship of all OH donors.
- Provides strategic guidance and supervisory support to the Regional Development Manager.
- Maintains the regional donor pipeline, forecasts revenue monthly and provides regular updates on revenue expectations and changes.
- Supervises the Regional Development Manager in support of their personal revenue goal and the broader organizational goal.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field, Masters preferred
- 5+ years of experience in non-profit with social services programs
- Working knowledge of greater local metro area preferred

Benefits
This will be a hybrid position with the ability to perform duties from a home office if desired; however, event support and periodic meetings would require some travel to surrounding areas. General office and sedentary. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to drive a motor vehicle and travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events to include overnight travel at least 40% of the time. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position is a full-time, exempt role with flexible remote work options.
