The Impact of a Sr. Director, Product Management Intake / Orchestration & Platform

Own and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for both the Intake & Orchestration Procurement processes and Coupa's core Platform capabilities, aligning them with company-level business goals and the broader AI-native product strategy.

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers responsible for Intake & Orchestration and Platform, fostering a culture of customer obsession, data-driven decision making, and product excellence.

Develop deep expertise in Coupa's orchestration and platform capabilities, including intake management, workflow automation, integrations (iPaaS), APIs, extensibility, and shared platform services across all spend management domains.

Partner closely with Engineering, UX, AI research, and Architecture leadership to deliver intuitive "front door" experiences for business users and robust, scalable platform foundations for developers and partners.

Engage directly with customers, prospects, analysts, and executive stakeholders to validate strategy, evangelize the roadmap, and represent the product vision in sales and customer engagements.

Collaborate with other product leaders to ensure seamless integration and alignment across the Coupa suite, advocating for platform-first thinking and reusable orchestration patterns that empower all product teams.

Define and track success metrics (adoption, usage, NPS, revenue impact) for your product areas, balancing innovation with the management of technical debt and robust engineering and quality standards.

What You'll Do

What You Will Bring to Coupa

  • 5-8+ years of product management experience in SaaS/Cloud product companies, including 3+ years leading and developing teams of Product Managers.
  • Proven expertise in B2B workflow automation, integration platforms (iPaaS), enterprise intake/request management, and/or platform product management (APIs, extensibility, shared services).
  • A track record of defining and delivering platform strategies that enable multiple product lines, balancing the needs of business users, developers, and partners.
  • A strong understanding of modern automation and platform principles (e.g., no-code, AI-native processes, API orchestration, microservices, multi-tenant architecture) and a commitment to high usability.
  • A hands-on leader with a history of mastering complex, data-heavy systems and translating them into user-friendly experiences and compelling product narratives.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and represent the product externally.
  • Bias toward action, a collaborative spirit, and a data-driven approach to making product and prioritization decisions.
  • Ability to manage technical debt while pushing for innovation, ensuring robust engineering, security, and testing standards across the portfolio.
