About the role
The Sr Director, Paid Social will lead the paid social strategy for a leading digital marketing agency. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive paid social media strategy that aligns with the overall business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic paid social media plan that drives brand awareness and engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between paid social strategies and broader marketing initiatives
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to inform continuous improvement of the paid social strategy
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in paid social media
- Manage a team of social media specialists and provide guidance on campaign execution and optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in paid social media management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing social media campaigns
- Experience working with major social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Qualifications
- Proven success in driving growth through paid social media
- Experience in managing large-scale social media campaigns
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing tactics
- Experience with social media advertising platforms and tools
