Sr. Director of Partnerships and Development, Nassau Suffolk Region

The Director of Partnerships and Development at BBYO is responsible for growing BBYO’s reach in the Nassau Suffolk Region, engaging new teens and families, and deepening partnerships throughout the region. Key duties include:

1. Seeking out and cultivating relationships with synagogues and other Jewish institutions
2. Identifying and cultivating new teen pipelines
3. Building collaboration strategies with key Jewish and non-Jewish agencies
4. Driving fundraising goals and metrics
5. Planning exclusive, high-impact “wow” experiences for teens
6. Coaching and mentoring teens to implement annual calendar of high-quality programs
7. Curating unique, access-driven programming to distinguish BBYO and drive early-year momentum
8. Collaborating with the BBYO team and JCC Chapter Specialists to ensure complementary programming
9. Staffing BBYO summer programs, including working remotely for 2-3 weeks
10. Serving as a liaison for BBYO’s International Convention or other “Movement-wide Initiatives” as assigned

Qualifications include:

• 5-7 years of work experience
• Experience with youth or teens preferred
• Experience with event planning, innovation, and partnerships preferred
• Experience with fundraising preferred
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Resides in the Long Island area and willing to travel regularly within the region
• Ability to work non-traditional hours (some nights and weekends)
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
