Sr Director Integrated Business Planning

About the role

Our client, a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space, is seeking a senior operations leader to shape and execute an enterprise planning approach that improves visibility, alignment, and decision-making across the organization. The role will bring together functions such as finance, supply chain, program planning, and operations to strengthen forecasting, risk management, and execution discipline. This position will also help establish the governance and data foundations needed to support integrated planning at scale in a complex aerospace and defense environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a tailored sales and operations planning strategy for aerospace and defense operations
• Facilitate cross-functional decision-making across multiple departments
• Drive scenario planning and risk management to maintain organizational agility
• Monitor planning metrics, identify gaps, and lead improvement initiatives
• Establish a unified source of data for enterprise planning and analytics
• Define governance standards for enterprise planning, ensuring accountability
• Lead initiatives to integrate business planning with master scheduling and program execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in business operations, program planning, or supply chain, including 8+ years in a leadership role
• Expertise in financial planning & analysis, program finance, or quantitative roles
• Strong analytical and leadership skills with a focus on change management
• Proficiency with CRM, ERP, MRP, FP&A systems, and advanced planning analytics

Location: Lone Tree, CO — US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $221,506 – $304,570 annually
