About the role
This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Controller to define and execute the roadmap for global accounting as the company scales
- Oversee the processes for timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes and reporting packages
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including cash flow and equity rollforward
- Manage core accounting operations including general ledger, payroll, and equity administration
- Lead technical accounting efforts and ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS, including complex transaction reviews
- Enhance internal controls and SOX readiness through process documentation and remediation efforts
- Coordinate annual external audits with auditors, ensuring efficiency and quality of deliverables
- Drive improvements and automation in accounting workflows to support high-growth SaaS operations
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience in Big 4 and industry settings, especially in multi-entity, public company SOX environments
- Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems, specifically in enhancing workflows and automation, preferably with NetSuite
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, foreign currency accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting
- Proven track record in leading teams through growth and process improvements in dynamic environments
- Experience developing accounting operations in a fast-paced SaaS or tech sector is a plus
- Ability to influence across various business functions and collaborate effectively with finance and leadership teams
- Excellent communication skills with senior leaders and auditors, demonstrating sound judgment
Pay
$214,800 – $295,350 annually
