About the Role

The Senior Development Coordinator is responsible for managing an assigned portfolio under the direction of Foundation leadership. This role involves preparing gift proposals, securing sponsorships, underwriting, in-kind, and cause-related gifts. The Coordinator maintains relationships with designated donors to foster engagement and identify major gift prospects. They ensure accurate record-keeping, handle administrative tasks, and track donor and event metrics. The position may require representing the Foundation at community events, including weekends, and acting as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate works independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare gift proposals and secure sponsorships, underwriting, in-kind, and cause-related gifts.
  • Maintain relationships with designated donors to ensure engagement and identify major gift prospects.
  • Accurately enter and maintain donor records in the database.
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks necessary for the role.
  • Track donor and event metrics as assigned.
  • Represent the Foundation at community events, including after-hours and weekends.
  • Act as a liaison to assigned internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, certification, GED, training, or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; Raiser’s Edge experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personable and comfortable interacting with the public.
  • Ability to work after-hours and weekends as needed.
  • Professional demeanor, pleasant personality, and goal-oriented approach.
  • Experience in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $23.21 - $29.48 / hour depending on experience.
