Description
Build the data layer that drives how manufacturing decisions get made. At ProAmpac, we’re evolving how data powers the business. This isn’t a reporting role sitting on the sidelines. This is about building the backbone of enterprise analytics in a complex, fast-moving manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Own
- Lead development of enterprise analytics focused on manufacturing, costing, and margin performance.
- Design and build manufacturing costing and margin analytics.
- Develop executive and operational reporting in Power BI that people actually use.
- Engineer scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric / Synapse, SQL, and Delta Lake.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines across ERP and enterprise systems.
- Apply Python / PySpark to automate, scale, and optimize data workflows.
- Establish governed, repeatable data models aligned with financial controls.
- Partner directly with Finance, Cost Accounting, Operations, and Leadership to translate business problems into data solutions.

What You Bring
- 8+ years in analytics, data engineering, or BI development.
- Proven experience with manufacturing cost or financial analytics.
- Advanced skills in: Power BI (DAX, modeling, performance tuning), SQL (complex querying, optimization), ETL design and development, Microsoft Fabric / Synapse, Python / PySpark.
- A strong understanding of data governance, controls, and scalable design.
- The ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate ambiguity into structure.
