Sr. Delivery Practice Manager, HCLS, AWS Professional Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences

About the role

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our AWS Strategic Industries, Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Delivery team at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of ProServe HCLS Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.
• Build and manage a team of Delivery Consultants and/or Engagement Managers working with customers and partners to architect and implement innovative solutions in HCLS.
• Routinely engage with Director, C-level executives, and governing boards, whilst being responsible for opportunity capture and driving engagement delivery.
• Work closely with partner teams; drive business development initiatives through thought leadership; provide portfolio guidance and oversight; and meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets.
• Translate technical concepts into business value for customers and then talk in technical depth with teams, cultivating strong customer, Amazon Global Sales (AGS), and ProServe team relationships which enables exceptional business performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.
• Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP).
• Experience with international sales and delivery work with global F500 enterprise customers and partners.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud technology.
• Experience building and maintaining C-level client relationships.
• Experience with communication, presentation, and negotiation.
• Experience with enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies and distributed architecture.
