Principal Professional Services Sales Executive, AWS Professional Services Healthcare and Life Sciences
About the role
We're seeking a dynamic ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to join our Healthcare and Life Sciences team at AWS Professional Services (ProServe).
Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with one or more of our largest, most strategic HCLS accounts globally.
- Collaborate with executive customers to shape technology transformation programs, including AI/Gen AI/Agentic AI transformation, IT modernization, and cloud migration.
- Lead business development end-to-end for accounts in scope by cultivating customer relationships and shaping and advancing opportunities from origination through proposals, contracting and delivery launch.
- Innovate how ProServe delivers high value for customers, through novel arrangement models and/or programmatic designs.
- Share evolving customer insights and needs back with relevant AWS teams to inform our solution and service and ProServe priorities.
- Monitor active projects to ensure that ProServe delivers on agreed customer business outcomes (CBOs).
Requirements
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technology sales or account management, large cloud, IT modernization and data solutions and programs.
- 5+ years of Healthcare and Life Sciences experience in Pharma, Medtech and/or Payer segments in North America.
Qualifications
- Experience with communication, presentation, and negotiation.
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits), or experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
- Knowledge of AWS services.
- Experience with C-level sales and strategic partnership building.
- Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature.
- Experience developing and closing large, complex deals and innovating commercial arrangements.

Pay
Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives.

- USA, NJ, Jersey City - $157,100.00 - $212,600.00 USD annually
- USA, NY, New York - $157,100.00 - $212,600.00 USD annually
- USA, VA, Arlington - $142,800.00 - $193,200.00 USD annually
