Sr. Data Analyst, Finance (REMOTE)

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Data Analyst, Finance (REMOTE) to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will focus on financial analysis and reporting with a strong emphasis on inventory, cost of goods sold, and month-end close support. You will partner closely with finance and operations teams to improve visibility into performance, strengthen forecasting, and surface actionable insights for management. The position also supports process improvement efforts that enhance the quality and efficiency of financial reporting. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Analyze key financial metrics related to inventory and cost of goods sold Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management Assist with month-end close activities and variance analyses Support budgeting and forecasting processes with insightful analyses Develop dashboards for enhanced financial visibility Collaborate with operations teams to resolve inventory discrepancies Identify process improvement opportunities for financial reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics 3-5 years of financial analysis and accounting experience, preferably in inventory or COGS Strong knowledge of US GAAP, especially regarding inventory and COGS Hands-on experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred Advanced analytical skills for interpreting complex data Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI Benefits Comprehensive healthcare, dental, and vision insurance active on day 1 Generous 401(k) matching after one year Ample paid time off plus seven holidays Exclusive discounts on premium merchandise Dynamic Learning & Development programs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
