About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence key business decisions through detailed financial analysis, strategic planning, and partnership with leadership. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for owning critical components of the company's planning and reporting processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior management. This position provides visibility into company performance and offers the chance to contribute to the development of a scalable FP&A function, leveraging advanced tools and innovative approaches such as AI to enhance reporting and analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance
  • Proven expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including building dynamic financial models
  • Experience with financial planning systems such as Workday Adaptive Insights or similar tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex analysis to non-finance stakeholders
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive approach with a track record of process improvement and ownership

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models supporting forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making
  • Lead the annual budget process by collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing historical data, and projecting revenues and expenses
  • Prepare comprehensive financial analyses, reports, and summaries for leadership and board discussions
  • Conduct functional P&L analysis, focusing on cost of goods sold and gross margin optimization
  • Review and ensure quality, consistency, and clarity of work produced by Financial Analysts
  • Partner with the FP&A Manager on profitability analysis, pricing strategies, and other strategic initiatives
  • Assist in improving FP&A systems, reporting processes, and implementing innovative solutions such as AI tools as the team scales
  • Support ad hoc strategic analyses and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of financial processes and models to ensure accuracy and compliance
