Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst

Role Summary

Maintains vigilance over work queues for alerts of potential network threats, intrusions, and/or compromises. Validates and defines the scope of alerts to determine if they are actionable and outlines necessary remediation steps. Ensures the accuracy of alerting information and identifies malicious behaviors. Coordinates remediation efforts and escalates incidents to appropriate teams for resolution. Engages in and leads specialized guild-related activities and projects.

• Experience in Blue Team, security operations center, monitoring, and alert triage
• Certification related to cybersecurity, particularly in cloud environments
• Knowledge in analyzing cybersecurity threats
• Experience in cybersecurity event monitoring/analysis within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment
• Efficient documentation of triage details, sources of information, and alert triage summaries
• Builds strong relationships with technical personnel across various disciplines to support projects, process improvements, and documentation
• Subject matter expertise in specific processes, systems, and/or tools related to cybersecurity

Requirements
