Cybersecurity Analyst-SR

About the role

Provides cybersecurity support for enterprise IT systems, including vulnerability assessments, compliance checks, and incident response. Ensures systems meet DoD and USASMDC cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

• Conducts vulnerability assessments and implements remediation strategies
• Performs compliance checks and ensures systems meet DoD and USASMDC cybersecurity standards
• Develops and maintains security policies and procedures
• Supports incident response efforts and conducts forensic investigations
• Manages and monitors security controls to prevent and detect threats
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• 4-year degree OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree
• Ability to work onsite in Huntsville, AL
• Active SECRET clearance
• DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Certification (minimum Security+)
• Risk Management Framework (RMF), FISMA, eMASS
• Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

Qualifications

• Knowledge of security assessments, ATO packages, and incident response
• Experience with STIGs and RMF
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
