About the role

AWS is seeking a Senior Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to guide AWS customers along their cloud journey. This highly visible role ensures all AWS teams work together effectively to deliver outcomes for the customer. The CSM will be part of a team focused on accelerating the customer cloud journey, migrations, modernizations, and ensuring customers capture the full potential and sustainable business advantages of AWS cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellent customer engagement skills through all levels of an organization, including C-Suite.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies related to cloud computing to unlock opportunities for customers.
  • Possess a strong background in change management and incorporate organizational change best practices into project delivery.
  • Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement.
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases for priority adoption of AWS and best practice implementations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Manage time efficiently, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other members of the sales and marketing team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion.
  • 4+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, including design, development, test, build, and deployment processes and timelines.
  • PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is:

  • USA, IL, Chicago: $153,600 - $207,800 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Austin: $153,600 - $207,800 USD annually

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
