About the role

The Sr. Customer Solutions Manager plays a pivotal role in accelerating customers' cloud and AI transformation journeys. They work closely with various AWS teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of outcomes for the customer. This role involves guiding customers through their AWS adoption stages, designing and executing strategic migrations, and fostering innovation with the latest AI technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide input on pre- and post-sales approaches to impact customer adoption and commitments, as well as closing opportunities
  • Deliver complex technical projects and migration and AI initiatives that significantly impact customer outcomes
  • Conduct deep discovery to design efficient adoption plans, identify acceleration gaps, and solve complex customer business problems
  • Implement and define effective people change management approaches to drive successful cloud journeys
  • Work cross-functionally with AWS service teams to address critical customer requirements
  • Proactively mitigate adoption risks and track realization of customer business cases
  • Share best practices and thought leadership in public forums to advance the cloud ecosystem

Requirements

  • 7+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion experience
  • 4+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent
  • Travel up to 30% of the time

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional work experience, or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
  • Experience with problem solving and disruptive innovation, developing technology programs and working across customer organizations
  • Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar
  • Experience driving collaborative projects from conception to delivery, or experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
