Sr. Customer Delivery Engineer (CDE), Global Enterprise Services (GES)
About the role
The Customer Delivery Engineer (CDE) for Amazon Leo serves as the primary technical authority and trusted advisor for customers integrating Leo services. This role bridges the gap between customer needs and Amazon Leo's technical capabilities, driving successful implementation, managing integration activities, and ensuring long-term customer success.
Responsibilities
Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure Leo solutions tailored to customer needs.
Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery across diverse technologies in networking, cloud, backoffice and hardware integration.
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
Requirements
Advanced systems engineering background with design/architecture skills and experience with operations of networks.
Experience with operations of networks, including hands-on experience with load balancers, switches, routers, etc.
Experience with compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.
Experience with field operations and hardware installation (power/data cable selection, installation protocols, conducting site surveys).
Qualifications
7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience.
Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols.
3+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience.
5+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience.
5+ years of scripting and programming with at least one modern language (i.e. Java, Python, PowerShell).
Experience in field deployments, supporting customers with hardware installation and integration.
Skills
Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.
Proficiency with field operations and hardware installation (power/data cable selection, installation protocols, conducting site surveys).

Base salary range for this position is $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually.
