(Sr.) Creative Strategist
The Role
We are hiring a Senior Creative Strategist to lead the development of performance-driven creative strategy across paid social channels for health and wellness products. This role is responsible for translating business goals and performance insights (communicated from the Head of Performance Content) into scalable creative frameworks that drive customer acquisition. Success in this role looks like pitching concepts and strategic next steps in team data huddles, gaining alignment, then delivering high performing direct response social ads weekly.
What You Will Do
- Creative Strategy Ownership
- Translate performance data (creative-related KPIs), audience insights and brand positioning into actionable creative briefs
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for scaling winning concepts and unlocking new creative angles
- Experience hiring and directing creators virtually or in person, sourcing for content generation, script reads, and whitelisting
- Align messaging from ad to landing page on all new messaging angle testing with our long for content writers for congruency and conversion rates
- Creative Direction & Briefing
- Lead development of clear, high-quality creative briefs for internal teams and external creators
- Set direction and execute:
- Hooks and messaging that hold the viewers attention
- High converting scripts and briefs
- Visual storytelling (b-roll shotlists, content sourcing, third party stock footage sites, etc)
- Creatives for TikTok that can then be multi-purposed to other paid channels (Meta, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, SnapChat, etc)
- Ensure all creative aligns with both performance goals and brand voice (crafting ads that convert without impacting brand integrity)
- UGC-Driven Concept Development
- Own ideation and execution of UGC-style ad concepts optimized for conversion
- Sources creators that fit the specific angle and demographic that brief is for
- Develop content that balances native platform feel and performance-driven messaging
- Guide editors toward high-performing outputs
- Lead strategy and execution for scaling winning creatives, avoiding creative fatigue and expanding successful concepts into new formats
- Establish frameworks for concept variation, testing velocity and creative refresh cycles
- Performance Integration
- Partner closely with existing acquisition and creative teams to analyze creative performance, inform future creative insights and identify trends and tangible takeaways to apply to net-new and expansion edits
- Use data to continuously refine strategy and improve ROI
- Take winning concepts and adapt them across various formats (statics, GIFs, video)
- Ensure each variation feels distinct to the platform and algorithm
- Creative Systems & Operations
- Improve and scale creative workflows with project management teams, briefing systems and pipelines
- Ensure clarity, consistency and efficiency across tools Hive / Wrike and Iconik (where we store assets and give editor feedback)
- Support a high-volume, test and learn creative environment
What You Bring
- 6+ years of experience in DTC, paid social creative strategy, and/or UGC strategy - with considerable experience in the health and wellness vertical
- Proven track record of developing high-performing paid social creative (case studies)
- Deep understanding of UGC-style content and platform-native trends (TikTok, Meta)
- Experience owning creative strategy, not just execution
- Strong ability to connect performance data to creative decisions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Sharp script, brief, and concept writing skills for conversions
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment from initial concept through to feedback loop

Reporting Structure
You will report directly to our Head of Performance Content and work closely with your performance pod team mates to bring high-level strategy to life through execution.
