Sr. Copywriter
About the role
This experienced candidate will play an essential role in the conception and creation of compelling, on-brand strategy and campaigns across multiple channels. You will bring exceptional creative thought and craft output, developing and delivering projects from brief to end user. Approach every brief with fresh eyes, creating and inspiring work that is distinctive, effective, and truly remarkable.
We're hiring an Art Director and a Copywriter at the same time, with a strong preference for hiring them as a team. If you already work with a creative partner and you're both interested, we'd love to see you apply together. Solo applicants with great individual portfolios will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Implement a combination of strategic and conceptual copywriting skills
- Craft creative, on-strategy copy for campaigns across multiple channels, including direct mail, emails, landing pages, digital banners, web, mobile, and more
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Work alongside the Art Director and other designers to ensure all projects are delivered on-time and on-strategy
Requirements
- 4-year degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, English, or other relevant discipline
- 5+ years of experience in copywriting; agency experience and managing client-facing projects preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Fearless and boundlessly creative with a deep attention to detail
- Strong background in web design and interactive technology, with meticulous dedication to proper delivery
- Experience working with a diverse profile of clients, and ability to adapt your writing style to a variety of brands
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, dynamic, deadline-driven work environment
- Excellent presentation skills and strong, assertive verbal and written communication skills

Pay
Salary for this exempt-level position will be based on experience and qualifications within an established pay range.
Schedule
We operate as a "work, not live, from anywhere" model, utilizing office space as a co-working space as needed. Traditional office norms apply whether in the office or remote. Expect to work with office equipment for long stretches, occasional long or irregular hours, and frequent interruptions (e.g., Slack, emails, calls). All calls are held on video to foster collaboration.
