Sr. Copywriter

About the role

This experienced candidate will play an essential role in the conception and creation of compelling, on-brand strategy and campaigns across multiple channels. You will bring exceptional creative thought and craft output, developing and delivering projects from brief to end user. Approach every brief with fresh eyes, and create and inspire work that is distinctive, effective, and truly remarkable.

We're hiring an Art Director and a Copywriter at the same time, and we have a strong preference for hiring them as a team. If you already work with a creative partner and you're both interested, we'd love to see you apply together. Responsibilities

• Implement a combination of strategic and conceptual copywriting skills
• Craft creative, on-strategy copy for campaigns across multiple channels, including direct mail, emails, landing pages, digital banners, web, mobile, and more
• Strong collaborative and communication skills with clients and teams within Tandem Theory
• Work alongside the Art Director and other designers to ensure all projects are delivered on-time and on-strategy

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, English, or other relevant discipline
• 5+ years of experience in copywriting, agency experience and managing client-facing projects preferred
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Fearless and boundlessly creative with a deep attention to detail
• Strong background in web design and interactive technology and a meticulous dedication to proper delivery
• Experience working with a diverse profile of clients, and ability to adapt your writing style to a variety of brands
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, dynamic, deadline-driven work environment
• Excellent presentation skills and strong, assertive verbal and written communication skills

Pay

The salary for this exempt-level position will be based on experience and qualifications within an established pay range.

Schedule

We operate as a work, not live, from anywhere model and utilize the office space as a co-working space as needed. Whether in the office or at a remote location, we try to operate in the traditional office norm model. Occasional long, irregular hours may be required.

All calls are held on video, as it is important to see facial expressions and reactions to work in a collaborative environment.

Working Conditions

• Work with a computer, telephone, copier, or other office equipment for long stretches of time
• Frequent interruptions such as Slack messages, emails, phone calls, or drive-by visits (from co-workers or pets while working remotely)
• Occasional need to bend, pull, push, and/or reach to access job-related materials
• Expected to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and maintain professionalism under stress
