Essential Duties
- Perform analysis, detailed design (including documentation), capital request preparation, installation, start-up/checkout/debugging, and cost control of assigned projects.
- Provide technical expertise in support of capital projects, process evaluation, and equipment modification.
- Participate in process improvement efforts in support of plant goals.
- Maintain and support the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) environment, including, but not limited to, PLC programming, Human-Machine Interface (HMI) configuration and programming, and logic maintenance.
- Create electrical training programs for electrical, instrument, and mechanical teams to stay abreast of federal, state and local regulations.
- Manage records regarding all system software changes and communicate any changes to affected employees.
- Manage contractors and maintenance staff during project installations.
- Partner with Plant Mgmt to develop the five-year capital planning and the annual electrical operating budget.

Education/Experience
- An Associate's degree coupled with 5+ years of demonstrated experience in an industrial continuous process atmosphere. Demonstrated process control experience in defining, designing, installing and maintaining control logic systems and equipment.
- Willingness to assume roles of team leader and team member when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- An Advanced demonstrated communication skills.
- A Bachelor's degree coupled with 5+ years of demonstrated experience in an industrial continuous process atmosphere.
