SR. CONTRACT ACCOUNTANT (HYRBID)

About the role

The Regional Accountant provides financial support to field operations while maintaining high-quality internal customer service at our North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

• Perform team-specific tasks as assigned
• Participate in management of 7,000+ client contracts using a custom database
• Manage and prioritize scope
• Capture specific contract language
• Review reports to ensure timely completion of documentation
• Perform audits on contracts to ensure compliance
• Create and/or review process documentation
• Assist with special projects
• Assist other teams within the department when requested
• Identify best practices within the role and strive to improve processes and efficiencies

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum three years full general ledger or contractual accounting experience
• Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines
• Must be a quick learner and self-motivated

Qualifications

• Experience with contract interpretation is a plus
• Proficient knowledge of Excel; SAP is a plus
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of associates across the organization
