Sr. Content Manager

Overview The Senior Content Manager works across departments to create engaging content that aligns with brand voice and accomplishes client marketing goals across earned, owned and paid channels. It requires an understanding of SEO best practices and strong writing skills, as well as the drive to research trends independently and bring fresh content ideas to the table. This position supports clients demanding high levels of strategy, organization and attention to detail. Responsibilities & Skills Leads content strategy and development for significant clients, including content planning, recommendations and execution.Develops, writes and edits content across websites, social media, email, blogs, paid media, digital ads and video.Plays a key role in social content planning and copy development, bringing platform best practices and recommendations forward.Researches trends, audience behaviors and client industries to inform content strategy and recommendations.Reviews data and analytics to optimize content performance and inform recommendations.Contributes to annual client planning, campaign development and new business opportunities as needed.Uses various online tools to organize, publish and manage content.Brings strong writing, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field.5 - 8 years of experience working in digital or social media marketing.Understanding of SEO, AEO, content analytics and platform best practices.Expertise in food and ag industries preferred.Agency experience preferred. Benefits & Compensation Curious Plot The pay range is $80,000 - $95,000 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.
