About the role

The Senior Content Management & Technical Writing Associate conducts advanced business license research to develop and enhance our internal licensing database, supporting both internal and external clients. This role collaborates with technology and product teams to advance industry knowledge and the products and services that rely on it.

Responsibilities

  • Advance our internal proprietary database of business licensing information ("the BL Brain") by proactively researching and identifying relevant changes to client-represented and emerging industries.
  • Further development projects within the BL Brain based on priorities set by the Team Lead and Manager.
  • Prioritize requests generated by internal team members via our task-based system while providing proactive updates on each request.
  • Communicate directly with government agencies to assist with business license research questions.
  • Concisely convey findings to team members via oral and written correspondence.
  • Collaborate with IT and Product teams to advance technology initiatives related to the BL Brain, including AI-enabled functionality.
  • Coordinate with internal business licensing teams to capture data identified during order fulfillment and support related data recapture initiatives.
  • Assist Marketing and Sales Departments with the production of regular content, including thought leadership articles for our website, podcasts, webinars, and social media.
  • Monitor industry changes for dissemination to internal and external clients.
  • Train colleagues on industry-specific information, BL Brain utilization, and data retention best practices.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of our Regulatory Tracker products and other subscription-based offerings.
  • Partner with the Sales Team to provide subject matter expertise on sales calls, RFPs, and project quotations.
  • Adapt team processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and cross-support other business licensing teams during volume shifts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably in the licensing field.

Pay

Compensation range: $40,800.00 - $68,950.00 USD. This role is eligible for a bonus. The range listed is based on the primary location of the position. Actual base salary is influenced by factors including skills, experience, and hiring location.
