About the role

ENTRUST Solutions Group is building a talent pipeline for future opportunities within our Power Generation team. While there may not be an immediate opening, we are eager to connect with motivated professionals who want to make an impact in the energy sector. As part of ENTRUST’s Power Generation group, you will play a critical role in supporting turbine engineering activities, delivering independent, third-party engineering solutions to global power providers and plant operators. This position offers flexibility with remote or hybrid work options and requires minimal travel.

Our Power Generation division provides services across conventional and renewable power systems, as well as compliance, covering everything from conceptual plant design to ongoing operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted subject matter expert for turbine consulting projects.
• Interpret project objectives and develop actionable plans to ensure schedules and budgets are met or exceeded.
• Prepare for client meetings and lead technical discussions, demonstrating expertise in turbine and generator engineering.
• Execute projects independently.
• Assist management with business development initiatives.
• Participate in conferences, training sessions, and engage with industry organizations such as EPRI.
• Occasional travel for site visits, client meetings, and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred; however, 15+ years of relevant power generation experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 8-10+ years of demonstrated experience in turbine and generator engineering, manufacturing, or service-related roles.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering calculations, assessments, and analyses.
• Willingness to travel as required to support projects and business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineering licensure (preferred).
• Advanced degree (preferred).

Pay

This position pays between $120,000 and $150,000 annually and is an exempt position.

Schedule

This role is designated as remote, giving you the flexibility to primarily work from home while staying actively connected to your team and projects. We value collaboration and responsiveness, so remote team members are expected to be available when in-office presence is needed—such as for client meetings, team events, or training sessions.
