About the role

ENTRUST Solutions Group is building a talent pipeline for future opportunities in the Power Generation team. As a Senior Consultant - Field, you will play a critical role in supporting turbine engineering activities, offering flexibility with remote or hybrid work options and minimal travel. This position involves serving as a trusted subject matter expert for turbine consulting projects, interpreting objectives, developing actionable plans, and ensuring schedules and budgets are met or exceeded.

You will prepare for and lead client meetings, execute projects independently, and assist with business development initiatives. Occasional travel is required for site visits, client meetings, and industry events. This role offers the opportunity to influence both technical and business aspects of the power generation industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for turbine consulting projects.
• Interpret project objectives and develop actionable plans to meet schedules and budgets.
• Prepare for and lead technical discussions in client meetings.
• Execute projects independently with expertise in turbine and generator engineering.
• Assist management with business development initiatives.
• Participate in conferences, training sessions, and industry organizations (e.g., EPRI).
• Travel occasionally for site visits, client meetings, and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred; 15+ years of relevant power generation experience may substitute for a degree.
• 8-10+ years of demonstrated experience in turbine and generator engineering, manufacturing, or service-related roles.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering calculations, assessments, and analyses.
• Willingness to travel as required for projects and business development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering licensure.
• Advanced degree.

Pay

This position pays between $120,000 and $150,000 annually and is an exempt position.

Schedule

This role is designated as remote, with flexibility to primarily work from home. Occasional in-office presence may be required for client meetings, team events, or training sessions.
