Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, cultivating a collaborative environment that drives professional growth.
  • Demonstrate mastery in independent decision-making, ensuring the seamless progress of projects even in the absence of immediate oversight.
  • Provide direction to projects, assessing potential risks, opportunities, and solutions to guarantee optimal project outcomes.
  • Develop, manage, and adapt intricate project schedules, orchestrating numerous moving parts and aligning with stakeholder expectations.
  • Employ seasoned expertise to identify, evaluate, and effectively mitigate project risks, drawing on experience to strategize solutions.
  • Exercise fiscal stewardship by closely monitoring budgets, expenditures, and resource allocation to align with financial parameters.
  • Articulate project updates, roadblocks, and solutions with eloquence, facilitating harmonious interaction among teams and stakeholders.

You Must Have

  • A Bachelors degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field or 2 additional years of construction project management experience in lieu of degree.
  • At least 5 years of construction project management experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).

We Value

  • A master's degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP certification or its equivalent.
  • Expertise in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • Experience collaborating with Federal Government clients.
  • A background in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • A track record of successfully managing projects up to or exceeding $50M.
  • A solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to work without supervision with latitude for independent action and decision making.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an innate ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving prowess.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, encompassing project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
