About the role

The Sr. Comms Manager, Postpaid will build and lead the PR strategy around T-Mobile’s postpaid offerings. This includes creating and executing bold storytelling ideas, opportunities, and earned media strategies that break through with consumer and tech media, generating buzz-worthy coverage, and reinforcing T-Mobile's leadership position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead communications strategy and execution for T-Mobile’s postpaid offerings, including benefits and other key differentiators.
  • Create and execute bold storytelling ideas, opportunities, and earned media strategies that break through with consumer and tech media, generate buzz-worthy coverage, and reinforce T-Mobile's leadership position.
  • Partner closely with business, marketing, partner, and brand teams to identify opportunities, leverage data and insights, align messaging, and deliver integrated campaigns that drive measurable impact.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, bringing forward bold storytelling opportunities that advance business priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, partners, and key internal stakeholders.
  • Pinch hit on a wide variety of projects for the team and in lock-step with our agency resources.

Requirements

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the office. This position may be located in Bellevue, WA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Communications, Journalism, English, PR or related field (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years of experience in communications and media strategy at a PR/marketing agency or fast-paced corporate comms/PR team
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • In-depth knowledge of what makes news and how to manufacture coverage without hard news
  • Ability to partner across the company and with different teams
  • Strong strategic thinker and problem solver who can navigate ambiguity and remain calm under pressure amid tight deadlines
  • Creative storyteller who can identify compelling opportunities and turn them into impactful communications programs
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability
  • Works well with others whether leading or contributing to a project

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
